Geneva Lake Women’s Association is celebrating a milestone in our amazing history. This year marks the 55th anniversary of our incorporation into a service organization. Back then, we were known as the Lake Geneva Jaycettes and were affiliated with the Jaycees. Changes at the national level led us to change our name in 1985 to the Geneva Lake Women’s Association, but our mission remained the same. To help those in our community in need.
As we celebrate this 55th anniversary, we’ll be sharing with you some of our historic photos and documents. This is our 1985 Welcome Packet. It’s a nice summary of our history and lists some of the many projects we were involved in. You’ll notice, we still host many of the same service projects and contribute to many of the same charities.
Thank you to our many supporters and members who have kept GLWA moving forward all these years. We couldn’t have done it without you. Please feel free to share your photos and memories with us. Just email them to us at glwa@glwa.net.

The Fourth of July is a red, white, and blue event that provides delight to the American people with brilliant and thunderous fireworks. However, we recognize how challenging it can be for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD.)
If you know of a veteran, check in with them throughout this weekend to see how they are doing. Let them know you are there for them, as they were for us.
Also, keep an eye on those fur babies!

Don't forget, Tomorrow (Wednesdays) the Walworth County Food Pantry and Diaper Bank continues to provide baby diapers and formula for families in need. Also incontinence products are available. Visit their website to find our more information.

On July 11, there will be a picnic and general meeting for the Red, White, and GLWA. Please be sure to confirm your attendance and specify whether you'll be bringing an appetizer or dessert on the EVITE that was sent to your email address. If you did not receive one, please let us know.
This year's picnic will cost $25 and take place at the Bottle Shop in Lake Geneva.
We appreciate prepayment as GLWA needs to plan and pay for this event ahead of time.
Options to pay are:
1. Using the eventbrite link below. Please note there is a processing fee added to this option when you check out.
